HAPPY CHRISTMAS

To wish you all a Merry Christmas. Let us remember the reason we celebrate. The birth of Christ. The King of Kings, The Lord of Lords!!! I love this print, by Bernardo Luini, "The Sleep Of The Child Jesus". I hope all your Christmas wishes come true. I hope there is a sprinkling of falling snow.

Let us all be cozy in our well dressed homes, as we are all ready for the occasion.

I wish for you joy and happiness, with family and friends and thrown into the mixture, some gifts under your tree.

Enjoy the beauty of your decorations and the glow of the Christmas tree with all it's beautiful ornaments, new and old, with all the memories!!!

But most of all, remember the lowly manger that our dear Lord and Saviour was born in.

May there be Peace on Earth, good will to men.

Enjoy all your delicious food with family and friends.

And if you have time, maybe you will be able to go skating on an outdoor rink, in the country. Oh, that would be perfect!!!

Once again, Merry Christmas to All, and to All A Good Night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Until next time......

Snowmen, Pickled Snowmen

I have made a few "pickled snowmen this year" and years past as well. I have sold quite a few of them as well at a friends shop. They went very well too. I love them. They are easy to make.

They make sweet gifts too. This one I actually used a large pickle jar!! TOO cute. I wrote on the tag to keep in the fridge.
This is only a small sample of the ones I have created.

I love being on the lookout for "new" jars to put the snowmen in.

They are easy crafts, but will last for Christmas's to come. I LOVE Christmas soooooo much, don't you? Until next time.......

Feather Tree and Vintage Elves

I love antique and vintage Christmas decorations. They are not so easy to find, where I am anyway. So when I find a piece and the price is right I have to have it. These two little elves are sweet and I found them lately. They have hangers for the tree, but for this year they really don't go with my purple tree.
Most of the goodies on my feather tree are oldies but goodies. The elves I found years ago at a sale. I was on a blog yesterday and she had a few posted and she called them knee huggers. I have never heard them called that before.

Oh if I only had a big house!! The decorating I would do. It would take me days to pack it all up after the season was over. My house is totally full for Christmas, but so is my attic. If only there was room. I have vintage trees and ornaments and decorations. Maybe one of these days I will have a bit more room.

I have another feather tree in Wickham too. I have it decorated in all red and white. I would love to spend Christmas in Wickham some day. I have celebrated every occasion in Wickham except for Christmas. I know it would be beautiful. A perfect country Christmas!!!! Until next time......

Christmas

I just love Christmas so much!!! I am all about Christmas! The decorating is one of my most favourite parts, well I just love to decorate.
I was out shopping yesterday with my niece. I bought this large candy cane at the Flea Market we went to. It looks great beside Santa.

I can't believe that Christmas is so close. The anticipation!!!!!!! Today is beautiful here where I am. Not cold and sunny too.

The other night I went to a Christmas Crafters Yankee Exchange at Darlene's house. She is the one in the blue dress. It was a very nice evening at her lovely home. I made and took a wrap that I knitted and I came home with a felted purse. Oh Christmas........

I wore my Snowman sweater that Chuck gave me for Christmas last year, but I felt it was too late to wear it. I love it too. The colours are not typical of Christmas. I love that there is PINK in the sweater and I wore PINK pants to go with it. Until next time......

More Christmas Goodness

This is some of my outside decorating. I still want to get boughs for my window boxes. This is Thistle Hair the Christmas Bear. I made this goodie. I think it turned out cute. Thanks to the help from Chuck too who made the base for me to attach the bear to.
Snowmen everywhere. Too cute.

Mom painted the reindeer.

Just Bob, the Snowman. Vintage wreath on the door of the birdhouse.

A candy cane I made and decorated.

Frosty and friends.

Merry Christmas. No snow, yet. I hate winter and I hate snow, but I would like some for Christmas, then gone right afterwards.

Thistle Hair the Christmas Bear, spreading the good news everywhere, about Christmas Time....

Rose bush ready for the season.

Oh how I love Christmas. Thanks to my Mom and Dad and the big deal they made out of it for us as children growing up.

Still no snow.

Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat............Until next time..................

Gagetown

My niece and myself went to Christmas in the Village last weekend in Gagetown NB and had a beautiful time too. I love Gagetown any time of year, but all done up for the Christmas season it is so lovely. I purchased this print of an original painting called Starry Night In Gagetown. I just love it. Notice the PINK frame. :) Until next time............

Christmas Time Is Here

This nativity set is so old and I got it for a song. I just love it too.
I'm dreaming of a purple Christmas. Lovin' it too.

How does one get a good picture of a Christmas tree? I never can. It turned out OK, but really does not look like my tree in real life.

I love working with the mesh. What a treat. I wish it wasn't so expensive. I would have it all over the house in different shades.

My angels tree topper.

PINK goodness!!!!!!

I love Christmas!!!! Who wouldn't? I love to decorate too!!! So many decorations, so little time. Oh if I only had a big house, what I couldn't do when it came to Christmas decorating. My attic is full, but not enough room for it all.

Frosty and friend.

A cross stitch stocking I did quite some time ago.

My vintage Christmas ornament wreath.

Purple pointsettea's. Love them too. I love too many things........Until next time....
